We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land – the Turrbal peoples from the northside of the river and the Jagera peoples of the south side of the river and we pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
Stafford Physiotherapy and Pilates (previously Stafford Physiotherapy Centre) was established in 1988 and we became a part of the Physiochoice community in 2020. Our dedicated team of physiotherapists is committed to providing clients with a comprehensive assessment and treatment program in a friendly and caring environment. We welcome members of the LGBTQI+ community.
We employ skilled, predominantly ‘hands-on’ technical expertise, and provide specific exercise programs and advice. You can be confident that your treatment will include the latest techniques and research due to our ongoing commitment to education.

- NDIS
Community Involvement
Stafford Physiotherapy Centre is pleased to support our local community by providing work experience opportunities, free lectures to various groups, sports coverage, and support to local schools and charities. Please contact us if you think we may be able to assist you or your organisation.
Clinical Pilates
We opened our Pilates studio in 2012 so that we could offer our clients and members of the public the many benefits of Pilates, under the expert guidance of a physiotherapist.
Clinical Pilates means that we assess the body’s clinical needs and adapt the exercises to suit each individual client (rather than everyone doing the same exercises in a large group class, without assessment).
Pilates can form part of injury rehabilitation and recovery alongside physiotherapy treatments, or can simply be an excellent form of exercise focused on strength and conditioning.
Our physiotherapy exercise sessions are a mixture of clinically appropriate exercises, which may include exercises delivered on Pilates equipment or exercises drawn from Pilates that target their particular needs. Our physiotherapists deliver these exercises within an evidenced-based and therapeutic framework.
We also offer private Pilates classes. Contact us to enquire.
